Victorinox Swiss Unlimited Snowflower and Snowpower perfume.
« on: September 26, 2020, 11:20:36 PM »
I was standing in line at the Dollar Store when I spied a Victorinox symbol in the perfume/cologne section. Looking closer, I noticed it was indeed Victorinox and for her. Looking closer, I noticed one for him as well. I bought 2 each with the notion of opening one and keeping the other in my Victorinox collection. Got home and the girlfriend tried the snowflower one. She quickly took a dislike to the strong smell. After smelling the Snowflower, I with great trepidation, opened the male Snowpower Eau de Toilette to try it. Yes, just as I feared, another very strong scent. So now I have one opened and one closed package each for my collection.

Soap and water does nothing to eliminate these scents from a wrist. :ahhh

The bottles they come in are very nice. Included is a nice Victorinox branded carabiner...so it wasn't all for naught.

Anyone else ever try these? I find the fragrance to be overpowering.

Valuable research!
Sounds like the perfect Christmas present for someone who has lost their sense of smell to Covid 19!

I’m also a bit of aftershave/cologne enthusiast, currently having some 160 - 180 different scents.

I only have one Victorinox though (hard to find here and pricely for what I view as relatively cheaply made general fragrance), the Victorinox Swiss Army Classic.

Not particularly sofisticated scent methinks. It has the typical citrusish vibe found on many cheap drugstore products. It gets saved by some pepper, so I do wear it relatively often though. Like yours it has good projection and silage.

These cost 4 dollars each...so I can't complain in that regards. The male cologne has a strong cedar scent to it. It is rather woodsy.

The cheapest I can see from flea-bay is $29,95 Candadian. Plus postage + tax to enter EU.
Cedar and wood like scents are my favorites though*, so maybe I'll try and find a bottle.

*currently wearing Bowmakers from DS Durga, my absolute favorite on the woody side of things.

Let me just say, the scent is still a little with me the next morning.  :ahhh

Now it smells much better. I think the misses and I prefer a more subtle scent that isn't as overpowering as a Nordic warrior clubbing you over the head with an axe.

I usually don't wear cologne. Mostly deodorant and aftershave when needed.

I hope Victorinox eventually sells the carabiners on their own as an accessory to the knives. That's my favorite part about these. They look super solid as well.

Must not be selling as well as Victorinox expects as it ended up in a dollar store.

I got this free from the Victorinox flagship store in London and was most happy to get the branded carabiner hooked on the side of it ...they aren’t that sturdy to be fair but nevertheless pretty cool if you are into Vic stuff.

The Rock aftershave I also got as a sample is actually very wearable though...

I did manage to source this from US at $14 + postage.
Keeping in mind earlier warnings of industrial strenght I sprayed a fraction this morning.
So far, I’m liking it quite alot. Cool, slightly woody with ’haps some citrus. An easy scent and good value for money methinks.

Checked, 193 different to be exact. So not counting any backup bottles.
Trust me, only dabbling when comparing to the serious and truly dedecated folks on that front
