I think it would be okay but someone should keep a copy in case Benner isn't okay with it, I wouldn't assume silence is consent.

I already copied and pasted it :D

I thought Leatherman datation format was MMYY (I have some that are MM-YY too), but here are two strange cases I found :
- Sidekick that has 0224 stamped on it (since we are still in 2021, I doubt 2024 is the manufacture date), I think it is an error and it may have been built in February 2014 instead

- Charge TTi+ that has 012919/012919 stamped on it, I suppose it might be based on american date format MMDDYY and my have been built on January 29th 2019...?

Any idea?

Thank you Poncho65 for confirmation :-)
Huntsman & SteveC, sad part of the story is that it won't be as "cool" after 2024

Hi all,

Well I finally removed the original list from the first post - So it's much neater now.  :tu:

I added the original list to post 383, and added a note to that effect in the first post - Just so that we have a copy of it in this thread

True - What a bummer!   ;)
I guess a date stamped photo is the best you'll be able to do after that year!!    :tu:

You're right, I might do it :-)

When I got some time I'd like to update the Leatherman charge multitool wiki page, it is quite "hollow" although there are quite something to say about that tool, especially on the scales variation for the titanium variant that happened since the excellent thread wrote by CChako that had lots of infos here : https://forum.multitool.org/index.php?topic=52132.0

Looks like we missed the Supertool 300M

Had a dig around here - Chako has a nice post on it - and it looks like it came out in 2020 - So I put it in the list

Let us know if the date is wrong

I think this needs updating.

OHT I think has been sent away.

By the way. Do they have date codes? I just bought one and can't find it.

Moved the OHT and Crunch into retired as of this year - EDIT: Looks like the PS4 has gone as well

Added the Arc to the current line up

Anymore changes please post them here .......  I think we may be a bit out of date?   ???

Really looks like LM are going into the luxury goods market - Not tools for the common man!!

Please add Garage related items.  Although some may want to debate this, I would consider all batches retired at time of release regardless of current availability (Harvest).

Garage Releases (Retired)
Garage Batch# 001: Mr. Crunch: 2022
Garage Batch# 002: Darkside: 2022
Garage Batch# 003: Parts: 2022
Garage Batch# 004: Europe75: 2023
Garage Batch# 005: 40th Anniversary Tool: 2023
Garage Batch# 006: Harvest: 2023 (Still available)

From Leatherman Historical Society member:

"The Tread & Tread LT (and obviously the Tempo versions) were put on final sale in late 2021 but didn’t sell out until sometime in 2022."

Does anyone happen to know when the black oxide Super Tool with cap crimpers and woodland camo pouch was first released?

0896 0996 is the earliest one I have but I am sure there are older ones, I have regular BO ones that are older than that  I am not sure on when the camo first became available but I am sure it has been out for as long as the Supertool has been available  :salute: they also made a PST sized one for them :tu:

Thank you, I assumed it was introduced as a military model so I wasn't sure if it was available from the get go in 1994.

Apropos, I need to pick up a leather sheath, are those common to ST and PST or are they also sized differently?

Yes, they are sized to fit the tool.

PST on the left    Original ST on the right

Much appreciated, are the brown leather ones a later production?

Yes although some of the very early PST sheaths were more brown looking.
