Sogs and Loctite

Do you need to use loctite or studlock on the threads of SOGs ? I'm not going to take mine to bits yet but may in time replace the two spaces with something .

I use clear nail polish on my threads. It's an old trick I used for guitar repair. The polish dries hard so you can break it without damaging the bold head or threads. Also, it's clear so no problems with appearance. I DO use some sort of threadlock, to answer the question.

I took mine completely apart once, then put it back together without any kind of loc tite  and the bolts haven't "unscrewed" at all.  I don't remember any loc tite on the threads when I first took it apart, but I could be wrong.

The bolts are really solidly screwed together, but every few weeks I try to turn them with my fingers and they don't budge!  A little loc tite never hurt though.

I've never taken a SOG apart :-\

I'm more familiar with Leatherman tools, which all have Loctite on the screws.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I could've sworn I'd seen something from sog regarding loctite, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.
The next best thing I could find...  If you consider Paladin tools to be "close enough" then the official instructions do recommend using loctite.  http://www.multitool.org/images/stories/Tool_pics/Paladin/pt-540.pdf

I fooled with my SOG when trying to decide whether to replace the socket adaptor with something of more use to me. I usually only worry about threadlock if the axle turns when any of the tools are opened. My Bear's axles tend to rotate loose with much tool use so I began doping them. I just carried it over to everything. I figure it can't hurt.
