I have to admit that in writing this review I'm more than a bit annoyed. This should really be a review of the Leatherman Juice S2, rather than that of a custom rebuild.
On paper the S2 is an excellent tool, pliers, drivers and scissors.Yet the drivers have a well earned reputation for breaking fingernails, and there is that unsettling fact that one hand is much thicker than the other. I had bought an S2 quite a while ago,and just could never ever get along with it.I had been considering either selling or trading mine, when I seen Metropolicity's SlimJim conversion.
Several pm's later...
When the joyful little packet from Canada dropped on to my doorstep, the first thing that struck me was just how small it was! Both handles are the same thickness...JOY...,the whole tool just feels petite, but not delicate, just a joy in the hand.
The scissors work well, but as been stated many times,Juice Scissors are hit and miss, but the drivers, those troublesome flat drivers deploy easily, but still snap into place as firmly as a good Vic.
All in all,Eric has again proven his ability to take Leathermans tools, and define just how they should have been made to begin with

There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!
