Well as promised, here's the low down :), it is in fact only a few week's old!, I wanted a Nessmuk/Mountaim Man style knife, I also wanted a knife that was made out of really basic materials (an old leaf spring in this case) that would need a lot of looking after, as much as I love my SRK and the vairous F1 style knives, I wanted something that was relatively maintenance intensive, this will rust, it will need sharpening after almost every use :)

So I asked my mate (Uncle Colin on BB) to knock me up a knife of this type, he'd never done one before (he usually does Bowies, infact one is in the Syderco museum ;)), but anyway he made it, then about half way through I asked him to ''antique'' it as I've always wanted a really classy looking old working knife :)

Well I'm dead impressed with the build and the fit and finish, and I can't wait to give it a road test, and although it's actually pretty big, (blades about 6 inches) I reckon it's pretty sheeple friendly as it looks more like a family heirloom rather than the latest Ninja De-Animator :D

Here's a couple more (crappy) pictures of his leather work, again they've been aged...

Alice....like Alice from Resident Evil, would be more appropriate if it was a khukuri though.
