Warning Proud Dad moment
on: April 17, 2008, 10:38:41 PM
After having played Lego Star Wars (PS2) for a couple of months, I decided to let my boy (5 years old) watch 'A New Hope', sad to say it but I was really chuffed to be able to share it with him :)

I love those games! So much fu0, me and my housemate managed to get to about 95% complete in a couple of days...we didn't do much else in that time but it was worth it! I've got a reasonable collection of Star Wars Lego, not much down here at uni though :(

Yep it's dead child friendly, although the 2 player option is frustrating when you know where you wana go but your stroppy child wants to go the other way :D

Good on my boy though, he never plays any of the charicters with guns, like his dad he likes the choppy, choppy more >:D

I didn't want to sound too geeky by stating the differences between the various games but.....yeah they did make it much better! If i remember rightly can't the blaster characters roll out the way of blaster bolts now?

what is the premise of the lego game? I've heard of it but do not know how to play.

and speaking of lego's (the real blocks), I have tons! when they came out with the star wars ones, I had
to get em.

I used to have these when I was a kid (always luv'd building blocks), my girl found them online; http://users.adelphia.net/~thormkt/toys/togl.htm
they were great!

Basically you just play through all six of the star wars games, there's loads of review on Youtube, but for some reason it's really slow over there
