Vegetables and constant slight starving is supposed to be keys to a long life. But that sounds like a punishment for life.

I have a mature wheeled excavator so I can crush rocks, hurl stones and make holes and roads for fun and meditation. I have almost toppled that one over a few times, and that one even has 4 wheels. Thus I guess I know how I'd end up with a biped one; it will be one of those "I have fallen and I can't get up" turtle stories. (I guess it takes some minimum of talent to handle).

Excavators are true multitools by the way: Excavating (duh), levelling, hoisting, carrying, raised work platform, bulldozing, crushing and breaking stuff. And plenty of specialized gear to attach and expand to that.

Robot Pro Wrestling. Wow. Now there you have a project for dad too  :D

Oh no! On YouTube I have just found Robot Pro Wrestling. It is pretty awesome RC stuff.  I don't think the Robots are "thinking" for themselves.

On the season opener of Battlebots a woman had a very advanced robot with AI, targeting systems etc that were supposed to allow the robot better precision and response times in fights.  As I recall, she had a respectable bout, but not good enough to get her to go on.

The problem is, electronics are not good at being hit.  As my old laptop will attest, often one good shot is enough to render them completely useless.

Picked up a Meccano Meccanoid. Success. The kids really are enjoying it.

Plus, I offered them a choice of SAK's and MT for the summer.

Daughter chose Vic Classic SD in ruby scales with TEC Accessories clip.

Son chose LM P4 with TEC Ti Centipede.
