I would have to disagree with you. The SURGE can fix eyeglasses, cut stranded wire in ONE cut, crimp WELL, cut thick wire with the reg. wire cutters in one cut, access tools with gloves on, and I could go on and on!  :pok:  :D :D

Just a shame that the weight of it means the owner can't actually move ey.  :P
Not to mention scratching your hands and tearing up your pockets with all the rough edges and hot spots.

I don't have glasses, so it is irrelevent, one cut or two, it cuts wire just as well, it crimps well, and I don't need gloves when using my multitool, and on and on. :ahhh   Try as you will, you can't prove the Surge's superiority cause it's not there. >:D  Swisstool rules. :multi:

The SwissTool doesn't have a proper crimper. It just mashes it together. Oh, and can you use big T shank blades on the SwissTool? Can you touch up the blade with the DIAMOND COATED FILE? Didn't think so! Does the SURGE'S philips driver head get deformed because its made of soft steel? Do the drivers slip because they are not properly ground. Oh, and do you lose a tool? Do you have to chose between scissors, serrated blades, and files? I don't think they so!  >:D

BTW, I am not a SwissTool hater.. The SURGE!! is just a superior MT!

One more thing: does the SwissTool file and saw go all the to the tip? Didn't think so!

Why on earth would you use a diamond FILE to sharpen the blade anyway :o, almost anyother material would be better ::)

As for the saw blade, the Swisstool's saw cut's on both the push and pull cut, is effectively self cleaning and due to the better ergonomics, you can use the ST for long periods without it chewing your hands to bit's :)

In other word's although your a Surge man, maybe we don't all need to hear about it's 'superiority' in every thread mate.

Dangnamit! I already ordered a LM surge. No just pullling your leg LM123  :D I'm really going to order a surge from EDCdepo, looking forward to it.
I'm also ordering a swisstool after the surge, micky d. After I have them both, gona leave them togehter in one drawer see if they mate and produce a hybrid multitool so I can rule the world  >:D
Multitools are the best thing that happened to mankind since the invention of the wheel!

You got me on that one! Well, another forum member polished up his New Wave so well it looks just as polished as a SwissTool! So, the same can be done with the SURGE!
