good enough for the 'Army' should be ok for a festival  :whistle:
(although probably not much safer than a gas stove, can't be sure you'll be popular ?)

*p.s. they're not great 'inside' a tent  ::)

Is Meths allowed?  :think:  If so I can send you one of these to play with
(or you could make your own?)
The only problem is they aren't the most stable cookers in the world  :-\

Everything’s adjustable

I'm heading off to Nottingham tomorrow so not much point (collect it on the way lol)

Well I didnt know what else to go for as gas wasn't allowed and this is cheap and seems to be effective? I'd rather have tablets then meths I reckon as the tablets seem easy to extinguish

Yeah, they'll manage a cuppa, but they can be very wind sensitive so keep them well shaded.

I've got one of these...

Very light weight, folds up very compactly, and you can use all sorts of different fuel sources with it if you want.  Esbit tablets, regular wood sticks and twigs, even a small can filled with alcohol and set alight... all work just fine with it.  I prefer using sticks and twigs.

Been thinking about getting a different one though... this one is more fuel efficient, although not as compact.

Good to hear Ryan. :tu:  I'll admit I've not used one in years, but they are cheap, light and effective if used correctly. :)

i've used these esbit stoves quite a bit, especially in the jungle. they work wonders and it should make you more than enough hot tea or coffee for the festival. just bring extra fuel tablets. it actually smells like burning fish when u light it up
