on: May 18, 2013, 05:20:50 AM
Any one own/ use a woodsmans pal.

http://www.woodmanspal.com

I'm busting up brush with a tomahawk now and I'd like to replace it with a lighter tool that will work better for me.

the woodmans pal looks like a quality well made multifunction tool to me

????

I want to hear a little more about it before I buy one though there not cheap.

thanks

I've always quite liked the look of the Gerber/Fiskar Brush Hook, though I've not used one myself.  I know I really like my billhook, but that's an old one. ;)
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I am going to pick up a Woodsmans Pal in the near future. I have a lot of brushy Valley Oak trees and it looks like just the ticket for pruning and bucking off downed limbs etc. I have handled the Pal in the past and they are a no nonsense quality piece of equipment. I plan on getting the standard version with the nylon scabbard. :multi:
