Christmas Presents list
on: December 25, 2013, 12:51:38 AM
Just wondered who got what for Christmas this year early for some but NZ is a little ahead :)

I woke up to two things I've been after for a while -

1. CyberTool 34
2. Sprit with a nice case

I am so happy and love both of these tools.

Well I gave out a couple OHT + classic combos, and have bought quite a few Saks on the Fleabay for myself including:

2x busted white cross pionners- I love them
A junk Passenger to be sent in for repair
A mostly new Outrider
Unknown date SI
Steel Pocket Tool Chest
Red Exec
Blue Rambler
Old Explorer
Wenger Traveller x2 and Forester
11 Orange Cadets, many of which are going to others around the world
Various other unexciting 91mm and 58mm that were included here and there, generally to be given away at some point.

Saks are rather expensive over here, so they make nice little gifts.  Giving someone a knife if bad mojo though, as it is seen as cutting the relationship.  Saying it is a tool is much better, lol.

I live abroad, so when I have the chance to go home to the USA to pick up things, I tend to overdo it.
Lurking with a large collection of sharp knives!

nice list you have there.

So so it's my understanding that when you give a knife as a fife the person receiving the knife should give a penny to the sender so the relationship is not cut - so could you ask for a penny lol.

I am now looking for a couple of penny's to give my other half now hahaha.

Very nice!  You've got some good gift givers there.

I'm pretty sure I have to buy my own Christmas SAKs as the few people that know I love them know that finding one I don't have that I want would not be an easy task for them.   That said I have so nice presents from the postman to open in a few hours.

   :drink:

I have managed to obtain an Executive with white scales, to go with my red and black scale Executive's, The Executive is my keychain EDC of choice, taking into account the UK's very strict knife laws.

I find that the Executive has all the tools that I need when not in 'Hiking/Explorer' mode for every day use, at the same time still looking fairly innocuous and non-threatening

Well my main gift I actually bought quite early, which was a 500GB PS3 GTA V bundle :D  I technically didn't receive anything MT/SAK related, although I do have an old mag glass Explorer on the way that I bought on the 23rd, so I could consider that a Christmas gift I suppose ;)
