Dentist, eh?
I don't want to know what you need the pliers for!  :ahhh
And I, as one might guess, am a Psychiatrist and Addiction SpeSmurfpillst.

I need pliers for anything that i must do with my naked hands, like opening an oxygen tube's stuck wrench. My hands will be in hard thick protective gloves till the bell rings. Then i wear the medical gloves and save the day.

Ah. That's better. At least you don't extract teeth with a Multitool's pliers. That would be a nightmare.

The crunch could get teeth out, you could lock it right on and pull. It even has the perfect name for working with teeth... ...crunch.  >:D

yes, one day if i have to extract a tooth with a leatherman, i will prefer crunch, it is the best leatherman tool for tooth extracting.
