I used to carry a Vic Camper and then I got the Champion and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Then, I got my original SuperTool!

My first was a cheap folding scissors made in china lost it, I was about 8 years old. My father bought me a swiss champ in highschool lost it again after 2 years. During college bought a camo spartan swissknife lost it after 3 years didn't EDC for a while. Then when I was working on a farm my little bro bought me a leatherman charge Ti been EDCing it for the past 3 years. Bought a fenixlite L2D Q5 4 month ago been carrying it also.
Multitools are the best thing that happened to mankind since the invention of the wheel!

When I was 5 years old, my grandfather gave me an inexpensive Barlow knife which I carried for years.

For those not familiar with the humble Barlow knife, these two are typical of the species:

The Barlow I was given had genuine bone scales.

The Champ is pretty special :)

At the time SAKs were the gold standard.  To some extent, they still are.
"Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall;
 Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
 And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169
