My first was Gerber's orignal entry into the Multi-Tool field.I broke a couple of them then moved on to a Leatherman
Supertool.

Teofilo, where do you usually buy your MTs? Have you visited the Hahn in SM and SOE store in Makati Cinema Square that Duckman mentioned?

Edap617, Teofilo & Duckman,
You are Pinoys like me? Great meeting you here!
Well to be on topic, my first pliers-based multi was the original king of blood blisters, imo: The Gerber Multiplier (the very first ones with almost no clearance between the handles when the pliers closed!)
Off-topic: BTW, have you had experiences with Hahn regarding LM warranty/repair? I sent my LM Wave to them for repair last November, and I still have to hear from them to date.

Hello josekym, Great meeting you too, I'm from the province of Pangasinan.
As for the hahn question sorry no experience, haven't tried buying from them.
You should consider buying online, edap617 saw good prices from the net.

Josekym, it's a nice feeling to have fellow Filipinos here.
I have bought some of my LMs from Hahn but I have no experience with them yet with regards to warranty and repair. BTW, what is the problem of your LM Wave? I also have a Wave, so far I have not encountered any problem with it.
Will give you some feedback on online buying after I receive the 3 items I have ordered. I don't know yet if there will be importation taxes to be paid. The first item I ordered was a Fenix L2D Q5 and that was last April 16. It is still in transit now.

What a small world! Hahn in Megamall is very near my home. They have a lot of these stuff there. Regarding damaged or broken parts of LMs, I believe they place their orders in the U.S. Jose, what's wrong with your wave?

Teofilo, you're living in Metro Manila while the rest of us live in the province. When I went there in Manila last December I did not bring any MT for fear that I will get into trouble at the airport. No problem here in the province, I always bring my EDC MT anywhere I go, even at the malls. Are malls security in Manila strict about carrying MT?

No Ed. It's a Multitool, right? There's no law here prohibiting the carrying of MT's. But don't bring in knives, especially long and big knives (gerber) or MTs with big knives (the x-tract).

Thanks, Teofilo. My only concern now is airport security. But I think they will allow MT as long as it is in check-in baggage. I just don't want to gamble and lost my multitool.

No problem with multitool or sak as long as check-in, thats how my bro brought my leatherman here. But you have to take it out of the box, something to do with tax I think.
