Cattleman's Ranch Tool Variant?
on: June 23, 2013, 05:46:06 PM
Could it be? Could the mighty Cattleman's Ranch Tool have a cousin?

This looks good, liner lock knife, thin, better looking casting and pocket clip.

I just pulled the trigger on two of them, just to see what they are like.  I'll report in when they arrive, which, knowing DX, might be in time for our tenth anniversary!  :D

Aha! I've got one of those!

Quite good actually, to be honest though it could've done without the knife blade because it reduces the amount of steel in the plier jaws.

Decent tool for much cheapness.

That's good to know- glad to hear I didn't completely waste my money on these!

To be honest I'm actually quite pleased with the other version, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

Ugh, pants on fire!

I'm such a Muppet - I don't actually have one of these, I have something LIKE one of these.

I've just had a look and what I have is this:

Exactly the same only different.

Still a decent tool though, better if they'd left that knife off.

Looks good. Mostly good reviews, plus the usual whingers. I may find myself ordering one.

Just one thing... how long is the blade and does it lock? The specs seemed vague... and I don't have my readers handy. ::)

On this one the blade is non-locking and about 2 1/2 inches so UK legal  :tu:
