Pity the link pin hole isn't a bit smaller so it could be filed into a 1/4" hex.

maybe cut down a cheap 1/4" wrench and weld it in, and then grinding it back it down into the hole.

It's only the bits and pieces that fall off. The frames are pretty secure, otherwise they couldn't lift containers with them.Def
