I have custody of my kids. She has visitation, yada yada. I know they are no lawyers here that I know of. But I'm so tired of not being let know of things while they are there. It's in my custody agreement and I am primary. I have a right to know and all decisions are mine. So the question is, should I continue to be nice and let her think she is in the right or should I protect them from the lies, deceit, and who knows what else? I'm so confused as I'm trying to do right for them, but when they come home they always tell me what happened and usually it's not good :(

Regardless of how nice you are, you got to do what's in the best interest for the kids, no matter how bad it is for the ex, and this is coming from my wife.. I completely agree cause I came from a much similar childhood myself. Hope this helps,  JR

That's the important thing, and sometimes that may mean putting up with all sorts of smurf from/by/associated with your ex for the sake of your kids.

Holding my tongue as best I can. I think what's in the best interest for them would be to let them decide. Most of the time they don't want to go :(. It's so sad
