well, if you decide to sell the logo'd yellow plus scales,  let me know 

or any of the logo'd translucent scales.  I have an experiment in mind and I am not willing to try on my good SAKs

I only have the one side. The other side must of been broken, cause that is the only reason I would throw it away. Do you want another color?

I can happily mix and match colors!  most of my purchases are beat to hell, or missing scales all together.

if there are scales you are throwing away, or don't like, I do not mind buying them from you.  it might help you as much as it helps me

Detron, if you're looking for yellow scales +B usually has them. The plus scales are on backorder now though. I only received 2 of the 5 sets I ordered. Here they are on an XLT.

Sounds like someone is thinking about refinishing/removing logos from some scales...maybe???

If its a torturer test, I've already beat you to it. Scales do not like; being punted, chewed, dragged, bathed in chemicals, or very hot water (they do not like the heat let me tell you), slam dunked, yelled at, ton of other stuff...

my experiment should be simple, and serve two seperate purposes.

1.  possibly change the apperance some  (this is a side affect, not a desired change)

2.  glow


I am going to add glow-in-the-dark paint/powder to the INSIDE of the translucent scales and see how it A. looks, and B. how much glow is visible.

even if I have to prime it with a bright flashlight, it might be cool, just because

Back on topic,  I would like to start ripping apart SAKs and smashing a Frankenstein's monster together,  but I am sort of scared.

Here's one thing I've been wanting to try, but haven't gotten around to yet: take the foil shield piece out of the scale, then fill in the cavity with glow paint/resin mix to see how it would work out. One might have to deepen the cavity a bit to make it work, but in my head it sounds good. Give it a shot if you're of a mind to do so.
