Some more developments of the MKIII Marmoset TX.

Bigger sight (a full 1" diameter) and FLATBANDS! I love rubber tubes but they don't last as long as flat bands. Flat bands are often lighter and have a faster return. You can cut bands into a tapered set and get an easier pull with similar power.

Anyways, here are some pics of the full wood MKIII (pre router)

BIG wood pin sight, I wanted to make a couple prototypes with plywood first before moving onto more exotic materials.

The new band attachment method includes an anti-band shifting slot and a reverse matchstick attachment method slot. I really don't the wrap and tuck method which produces a unclean and usually hap hazard look. I wanted clean, streamlined and quick to change.

See how it doubles back on itself. In order to achieve the same draw length, I have to cut the bands 2" longer.

It's WAY too late to fire up the router, but I also have to make new top for my table so it'll have to wait.
