Which SAK
on: June 16, 2015, 05:12:21 AM
Looking at getting another SAK. Want the tools listed below, and either ALOX or black oxide if possible. If not, then plain ol red scales or whatever is fine. I think the huntsman is about the best fit?

Scissors
Knife
Corkscrew
Bottle opener
Can opener
Saw
Awl/punch
Would be nice to have tooth pick and tweezers.

Actually I suppose a corkscrew isn't a must have...

Like you said the Huntsman ticks all the boxes but if you want alox then maybe a Farmer and a SwissCard or go custom styles.

Maybe not of interest, but you could also go for the bigger 111mm Outrider.  Not Alox or BO, but a different look than the standard 91mm setup.

The Huntsman fits your criteria best.  What you need to ask yourself is what style are you after?  You won't get Toothpick/tweezers with Alox, at least not without a Mod.  The 111mm line is cool but quite a bit larger than the standard 91mm red handled cellidor models.  I'm partial to 91mm knives myself.
