If the waxed cotton is decent quality then its worth what you paid for it...you could take the Barbour patch of if you wanted ;)
That's almost certainly then plan. ;)  It's not said on the site, nor is it obvious from the emails etc, but this jacket was sent from China.  The chances of me hearing from them ever again seem slim. :shrug:

Hard luck...mind you if you read the ad some of the grammar and spelling gives a bit of a clue.probably be worth a hundred pounds though .

Well who would have thought it?  I actually got my money back and kept the jacket. :o

However, much as this is an OK jacket, I couldn't help but order a real one as well, this time direct from Barbour so hopefully no fakes this time. ;)

Money back and a free jacket...even if it's not a genuine Barbour I'm guessing the quality is still decent, even no name wax jackets go for about £100.
A lot of the new Barbour stuff is made in China so there is a chance the jacket you got could be made of the same stock material ;)
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I'm happy to say my new jacket arrived today.  :mail:  Totally different kettle of fish, real Barbour quality this time.  Now all I have to do is wear it for the next six months to break it in. :D
