1/4" Hex Turners?
on: August 07, 2013, 07:41:09 PM
Apart from a standard 1/4" hex wrench, what have you found to use for turning hex nuts? Almost all of the plier-based tools have a usable set of pliers for this purpose, or a 3-D Phillips driver, but what else?
-Most bottle openers will work, albeit in one direction. To use the other way, turn the tool over.
-Gerber Artifact will work for turning 1/4" hex nuts if you put the nut in the bottle opener spot.
This is gonna hurt...

Pocketwrench II, Chapmans mini ratchet, Topeak Rocket Rachet.

I've used the SAK bottle opener a couple of times until I broke one on a stuborn screw.
