I don't really have much to contribute to this thread based on the fact this is (I believe) precisely one half of the total sum of one piece multitools I own ...

... the other half being a Gerber Shard which lurks in THIS tin

Does my crowbar count as an one piece?

Is part of the definition of 1 piece tools that they can fit on your keyring? Although of course that would also depend on the size of your keyring...

Nope, it's not. Though of course, we're talking about 1 piece MULTI tools ;) So, my hammer-bottle opener does count ;)

This is a Stanley Fubar.

It is one piece, it has a convenient lanyard/large key ring attachment/nail puller at one end along with a pry bar and at the other end it has a large hammer and a wedge/lever/grabber/yanker thing. It's great.

The only other one piece "tool" I have is the Leatherman keyring, which I got free. That is also pretty good and is my every day keyring. It has a bottle opener and a little hex driver which I've only every used for dismantling MTs.

Everytime I see the Fubar at a hardware store I want to buy it, but I don't really have a need for it.  It has lots of wrecking potential though!  :D

I keep the Fat Max version of the FUBAR in the Jeep.  It's very handy at work!

Search YouTube for Fubar videos.  The toilet and armoire ones are my favorite.

The Fubar is very cool

Personally I got myself this little thing... Dead On Annihilator

I have absolutely no real use for it, but as soon as I saw it I knew i had to get it  :D Never even used the bottle opener (yep, it has one)... Though I'm sure it'll come in handy when the zombie hordes take over  :twak:

Looks cool, but for the zombie hordes you really want a sharp slashing implement to slice and dice; don't want to be trying to free this up after impaling a zombie skull with it, only to be overrun. Depends of course if you are talking about the old school slow zombies, or newer hyperfast ones.

Hmm, seems to be a topic I have spend some time thinking about, strange .

Slow zombies are theoretically possible. Fast zombies aren't.

If you take the Walking Dead theory as an example, that zombies are the result of an infection, the pathogen would suspend many functions of the body and conserve a significant amount of energy.  They still starve, but it takes a lot longer than it would take a normal human.

Fast zombies, such as the ones in the World War Z movies would use an immense amount of energy and starve in a very short amount of time.  This would make them a lot less of a threat over time.

It doesn't matter what the virus is, or how well designed it is, it can't create energy, it can only use it efficiently or not.

Have yet to see a slow zombie movie I enjoy though. They just don't seem that much of a threat.

Having said that, I need to watch World War Z.

I would welcome slow zombies. Like a Shawn of the Dead zombie. Id be up smurf creek if only armed with my True Utility 47 if a zippy zombie were after me. That is one POS tool I do not like.

I'm not familiar with that one, although to be honest I wasn't impressed with much I've seen from True Utility.

I like the Shard.  I keep it on my keys along with my Executive and a P-51 can opener.  It's actually the only one piece tool that I own, though looking through threads like this, I'm sure that's gonna change soon...
