How do I post youtube link without embed it?

Had this problem several times already, I want to link to a youtube video, but not to distract from the topic I want just a link showing instead of embed it. It seems that's pretty much impossible to do, doesn't matter if I just paste the link, or put it in URL tag, the forum software always embed the video.

Is there a secret way to do it that I'm missing?

I don't think it will embed it then.

actually I fixed the https non embed by using the word filter...

You can always use the quote function. No embedding then. :salute:

You guys using TT4, are quoted links clickable? They are in the browser but not in TT2.
