Just picked up a Gerber Maintenance Kit! I had a MP600 Pro Scout, but it did not have the carbide cutters on it like this one. The Firecracker and case is nice also!!  :tu:

Hmmm, let's see the last gerber I had was,, anything for either of the kids! cause the only gerber tools I had was the first one they came out with, and then the second one after I handed the first one over to my cousin cause he was going into the service. What I did with the second I have no clue, probably broke it and threw it away, wish I just went out and bought him what ever he wanted and kept the first, at least that one didn't "Just Break"! JR

Congratulations on some nice Gerbers Loki!

Funny, I just got one of those first polished Gerbers too. Mine looks exactly like yours, except there are cut outs in the handles missing, and the fingernail nicks are on the wrong side of the knife blades. :D

Well done Loki ! Three hard to find flicky Gerbers there (Mr Pinchy's v1 and v2, and an MP600 cable cutter as well)    :multi:

And Bob has an excellent eye.  I think Loki has uncovered a new (to me, at least) variant on the version 1 Mr Pinchy    .  All 4 of my v1s ( FPR and non-FPR) have the missing cut-outs and mismatched nail nicks the same as Bob's.

Yet another variant to keep an eye out for [sigh .....]

As far as I know the Cable Cutter was a regular production variant of the MP600, not a mod.  I have one, and there are a few with other MTo members as well. But they aren't at all common.

The military MP650 also came with Cable Cutter plier heads as standard.

Cool Mr Pinchy version 5]   8)

I gather it had done some work since it was "reconditioned" ?

I assume it has been sent in. Neither me or the last owner did, but at some point I assume it was.

I'm sure I have asked this before but do you have a link to all the Mr. Pinchy info. I would like to get more familiar with the different versions and the timeline.  :tu:
