Sounds like someone has been bitten hard by the Mr Pinchy bug  :pok:  ;)

In other news, a well travelled yellow MP600 landed down under today, after a stay in Russia  :D

Sweet bit of kit there Capt!  I have to admit though, I had a real  moment when I looked at the first pic.  I thought the tool was sitting on the box, and I thought "Wow, either that box is huge, or the tool is tiny!"  I then realized it was just the picture.

Any chance of more picks of the sheath setup? Looks interesting but hard to make out.

Will do. I have personally never seen this sheath before, but I'm sure others have. I wish I could use my camera to upload better pics but its not possible right now. I will get the best pics I can though. Give me a few.  :tu:

And in great condition too.   :tu:  Some of the old Mr Pinchy's have had to endure hard usage because they are such a tough old tool, not sophisticated or flash, just hard working.

While its in good condition but the lack of a proper camera hides its problems. There is rust (or something) on the tool and in some hard to reach places. Im thinking full disassembly on this one. Should clean up very nice though.  :tu:

Blade appears to possibly be the factory edge if they did a sub par job. That said its still a good edge. There is a small amount of rust on the edge, but I should be able to get it off. The awl edge is much better and is definitely factory. The awl looks un used.

That's got to be the earliest version of the bit adaptor/coupler I think I've ever seen.  I wonder if it fits on the Phillips of the MP600?

Just out of curiosity did they use the same box for different models as the Mr. Pinchy is a different model than the one on the box.

I have what I think is the same bit kit (it came with a V1 FPR Multi-Plier/Mr Pinchy).  It fits the several MP600s I tried it on, and all my Mr Pinchy's that I tried (V1 FPR, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5).  The phillips drivers and the bit adapter are both slightly rectangular in cross section, so unless you try it the right way it feels like it doesn't fit.
