I got a 22" widescreen for my main computer and I have to say, big monitors are the best! :D

Merit Badges Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. For those who posted like a boss. 10-4 ordered the 24" iMac today - I held off a few days because they just release a newer chip set in the 24" - I did update the link in the original post to reflect the newer model.

Should be here in 2 days, can't wait

Admit it- you just upgraded to the 24 inch model over the 20 inch because I said I had a 22 inch! :P

Looks like a good machine.  Someday I may try a Mac again.... someday!

Thereare a couple ways to order at a good price... I found www.onsale.com had the best price on the newest machines plus free shipping / no tax and $100 rebate. Other options are buying a reconditioned Apple directly from the apple site  =  http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/routingpage.html   ( using an educational discount ( basic question to qualify is " did you ever go to school?). Apple does charge sales tax, free shipping. Same warranty on a reconditioned machine as a new one.  www.Amazon.com  has good prices also but they are a little slow on posting the newest machines on their WWW site. Apple announce a processor / RAM upgrade  the beginning of the month and Amazon still is selling second generation machines - free shipping and no tax.
