Wenger scale question
on: November 04, 2013, 04:23:01 PM
Hi all, just wondering if Wenger scales are as easily replaced as Vic scales. What I'm looking to do is take a regular scale and replace it with an EVO scale. Thanks

It's tricky With the Wengers. They had a few different scale attachment options during the years.

If you have a newer Classic scaled wenger, then putting the Evo scales on it shouldn't be a problem, just check if the attachment points align first. Replacing them is easy, even easier than on the Vics.

Wot he said!

As long as both sets of scales say 'Wenger' above the backspring side,it's perfectly straight forward!
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

In my opinion Wenger scales replacement is much more easier than Victorinox.
You won't need glue or anything and you won't notice any difference.
Just proceed very slowly.
