Swiss Tech Utili-Key

It's not that bad... if you can pick one up for a couple bucks, I'd say it's worth it.  At 8+ it's a bit much.

That is all.

It's the one multitool which has been with me the longest, and has been a resident on my keyring for longer than I can remember. It might be cheap and limited in function, but it's fixed my specs a couple of times which mean it's worth every penny and much more. Plus the bottle opener, knife, and Phillips have all been used when I've been caught out without other tools too.

I agree. A very handy little tool this. My only problem, I tend to forget I have it on me most days.

I like it for airplane travel, as I zip tie my luggage, and need to open it before I can get to my actual multi tools, so a small knife to cut the zip ties helps.

I recently discovered that there are actually two different versions of the Utili-Key. One is the "6-in-1" version, with a knife blade. The other is the "8-in-1" version with a nail file instead. I had the 6-in-1 a while back. I considered it very useful as a backup tool, but I didn't like the position of the blade. When it broke, I didn't bother to replace it for this reason. Now that I have discovered the 8-in-1, I plan to carry with my Victorinox Executive, since it can supply a bottle opener and phillips screwdriver while adding very little weight.

I'll let everyone know how this different version works out once it arrives.

If I am going to pay Swiss Tech $0.01 for each time I used the Utili-Key, I would own them about $50.00.
