what was the allure/reason for this knife? with so many well established, trusted blade makers out there,
I'm just curious, not meaning to be sarcastic or judgmental ;)

Glock is known for it's reasonably affordable, plastic (but good) guns, It does look interesting, but a design I've seen
many times.

I've got one- I never thought too highly of it really.  It doesn't take or hold an edge well, being a bayonet I guess it doesn't need to.  Since I rarely have to use my long guns to unseat mounted cavalry, I don't have much use for a bayo!

I was actually given this knife by a friend :D along with some other things he gave me, pretty much for just hauling him around some and me not giving him any slack about it.  He also gave me a Gerber 600 Knife (that's actually made in USA) I haven't ever really used knife (the Glock) but it was just lying around so I thought I'd see what others thought about it :D

Well I bought mine years ago, shortley after they became available to civilians and to be honest, It was a bit of a waste of money :-\, it looses its edge very quickly (but is easy to sharpen) it's almost useless at any kind of bush task (but then its designed for stabbing ::))

All in all I wouldn't recommend it I'm affraid  :-\

interesting, maybe they saw a niche in the market; "Gun and a Knife" all at once! and gave it a try.

Has anyone tried the root saw on the 81?  Just wondering if it is any better than the blade?

I bought the plain backed one (I don't like stress risers like saws) :)
