Anybody ever seen/held/used/owned a Stanley Max Edge? Looks like an interesting tool. Thoughts?

That certainly does look like a SOG.  Or a very good looking knockoff.

Hard Hat has also rebranded some Bear tools in the past as well.

Yes, that is a sog. They were produced amped sold ten years ago or so. Around the same time frame the Harley tools were made by sog. I believe both may have been licensed through united cutlery in some way. They are not bad tools. It is very much like the gen 1 pocket power pliers.
