Wave v Pulse comparison (for MultiMat)
on: May 15, 2008, 08:04:54 PM
Following a discussion via PM with MultiMat - here are some pictures of the Pulse and the Wave, to help him with his pending difficult choices.....

The Pulse is 165g in weight, whereas the Wave weighs in at 240g, hopefully the pictures will give an idea of the difference in size. Hope that helps Mat!

DaveK that is awesome thanks very much. My pay this fortnight was better than expected ::) I might get one of those new pulses on Ebay. US Ebay sellers driving me nuts with there cool MT's which they do not want to share with the rest of the world (namely sideclips & other retired LM's). Is there a US  trade  embargo on MT's :P :P? Maybe they are rightly listed as national treasures :P. I am trying to control my affliction( disease?) by limiting my purchases to retired LM's & maybe a swisstool for me & maybe a sprint & ...... ::) Thanks Davek that seals it I will go with a pulse & then a original wave :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh.

Dang it, Dave!  I sense my current eBay bids will start to creep up on the Pulse I'm bidding on!

Great review, though!

Lol - sorry about that mate!

MultiMat - in the pictures it is a New Wave - not an old one (just checking you realised that). The old Wave is slightly smaller than the new version, in fact very similar to the pulse in most aspects (I think).

I'll try and get some more pics later if you like.

No that is ok . I have not had a close look at the waves so I am yet to be familiar  with their differences.

Going nuts Poncho so many US sellers will not post overseas >:( >:( >:(. I went to buy one from ebay last night for $46us +$12us postage, but did not relies seller asks for instant payment. I have always used the paypal funds transfer process which takes 5-7 days. So transferring funds to my account & at the end of the week will contact the seller again. It bites that the other guy who sells pulses on ebay  , normally for $15-$20us , does not ship outside US >:( >:(. By the end of the week I might have changed my mind & gone for some other retired LM's.
