I was getting concerned. It's all better now.
Thankfully, there was Documentary Heaven to the rescue.

Also seems the new pretty URL mod on the forum had blown the database size up hugely...
I didn't look at it very closely, only saw that the url cache was twice the size of the actual messages. Checking the support thread for the mod saw there is a new update for it, so updated it. New cache is much smaller now, I think they changed the routine to how things are indexed or something. I haven't had time to check any further, busy checking other potentially broken stuff... plus it's Sunday
I know know what a MTO-less life is like. And it scared me.
Glad we are back up, I was concerned! At first I thought my internet was acting up, but everything else was working. Glad this was short lived, I remember the longer outages and I don't want that to happen again. It's awesome to know we have such good support for the site!
I now know what a MTO-less life is like. And it scared me.
Quote from: Nhoj on November 17, 2013, 06:10:08 PMI now know what a MTO-less life is like. And it scared me.Yup, for the first time in nearly a year, I could not get on this site for my nightly updating/browsing after having limited access throughout the day. And as Nhoj said, it was scary I didn't know what to do with myself when I discovered I couldn't get on and likely wasn't going to be able to for the rest of my night. I realized just how much I really enjoy coming on here daily, and how weird it seemed when I had to go without my fix...I don't know if that's a good thing, or a sad thing Either way, glad this place has great tech support, from both the server company and Whoey
