Hey wow! How'd you do that?

It's actually not that hard, once you know the "tricks."  8)

Two more "flavors" (for those who aren't into carbon fiber and stained wood):

Brushed metal inlays, natural wood
1024x768
1600x1200

Raised, brushed metal
1024x768
1600x1200

1920x1200

Note that this is just a quick'n dirty resize and crop job, seeing as my base image was 1600x1200. In other words, I didn't have any more "wood" to work with, so to speak. Turned out OK, considering.

Pick a resolution and "flavor."

Can you do a Gerber one? :P

Def

Why of course!

1024x768
1600x1200

See? I put a lot of effort into it too.  :D

I tried something else here. The lettering/logo are the same size as on the 1600x1200; only the background is stretched out (no cropping):

1920x1200(2)

Before I thought that stretching the background would screw up the lighting and knot pattern. Turns out it wasn't so bad, so I went with it.

Hey dunc5, still want that Victorinox background? I managed to scrape up the logo in EPS (vector) format online.

Just gimme a resolution and the style you'd like. It'll only take a few miniutes to whip one up now that I have the logo template.

Here's one more, inspired by that little medallion thingy on the Charge's sheath:

1024x768
1600x1200
1920x1200

Yes please , brushed steel on wood   in 1024x768

Thanks

Duncan

I assume you meant stained wood? I tried the brushed inlays approach, but... I don't know. It doesn't look right. The logo and the thin serif'd lettering doesn't lend itself well to metallic embossing like the thicker letters used in LM's logo.

I'll keep on it... In the interim, I offer this:

1024x768

A bit "plain," I know. I'll try to come up with something more elaborate soon...
