Confessions of a tool tragic
on: May 22, 2008, 05:11:35 PM
I have just committed to buying X2 new LM's a pulse & sideclip ($134us delivered :o) . I have been going bonkers watching 2nd hand sideclips going for $70-$80us to Australian buyers. Now what is the best tool for putting the lid back on this can of worms? I am thinking X2 crunch's could hold that lid on tight :P :D :D Best thing though lads the misses was sitting next to me when I was reading the dealers offer & she said go for it  :o :o. How lucky am I , I wonder how long that green light will stay green  :D :D

Not that expensive if you're outside the US though. That's what £34 each tool including delivery. It's about right I'd say.

To give an example, I was selling Sideclips on ebay recently for anything between £35 and £45 ($70 - $90) plus postage on top. From the UK I sold them to Sweden, France and Italy - they're like gold dust! Admittedly these were NIB, but who cares if they're in good nick?

Nice one Mat! Where are they shipping from Mat? Oz?
I used to come here a lot.

Davek that was the clincher, the dealer is only charging $14us delivery from the USA and that is what I normally pay for X1 tool. The dealer actually is giving me a better deal than he normally does . You guys in north America  do get much better deal than us poor sods over seas. When the tools arrive I will post the dealers details as he has been very good to deal with :) PS scrappy those prices are what I would have to pay for 2nd hand Pulse & sometimes more for a sideclip, so as they are NIB I am spoiling myself :D :D

Do not squander or waste them, there are little children going to bed hungry in Cambodia. :pok:
