I'm playing plumber again today.

we had another home abandoned so I have to shut down the water remove the meter , blow the water back under ground with compressed air and cap the line.

fat man has been helping. Cutting heat tape and remote wire. I also used the Phillips to open a panel to get under the house.

sorry no pics. I forgot my phone in the truck and I wasn't going to make a extra trip to get it.

I would like to see how the cheaper Sidekick works out for you!  It would be a good test with your work and then we can get an idea of how it holds up to the others like the ST300 or Rebar or other more expensive/heavier tools.

I'm interested in getting a Skeletool, so I wouldn't mind seeing that in action.

The Skeleton Crew

I want to let you know a little about what Il be carrying.

skeletool cx

this is actually my second skeletool cx. The first I sent back to leatherman after I wore the liner locks little nub that keeps the blade closed off. Its a ball bearing in most knives. I have no idea why leatherman stamps there's instead . The spring inside the lock that holds the bits in was also broken. I replaced it with hard rubber . It worked but it was not the same.

the skeletool cx I'm using now is a refurbished model . The original was combination edge. This one is plane. :) the blade is new as is the pliers and carabineer side of the Handel. I haven't really used it since I got it. I've carried it a few times. Sharpened the blade to a razor edge. I also replaced the spare bit with a tt pockettools bit holder and replaced the bit in the driver with a flat / Phillips bit.

the trunite is one of my most carried lights. Very Dim or very Bright.  AAA       heres a review of it by someone way smarter than me. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?330172-Review-of-the-Thrunite-Ti-with-Firefly-mode-0-04-60-Lm

the rambler is a oldy but a goodie. I got it from our own Sir Mike in a trade a few years back. Its a great little knife. She's got alot of miles on her and she's got alot left.

I say Sidekick as well.  I would like to see how it holds up to some real work since many are under the impression that it can't handle what other more expensive MTs can.
