My Citizen Promaster recently suffered a stroke or somesuch and runs slow, losing minutes over just a couple of days, not right for a quartz watch even after a new battery didn't help...  So, I opted for a new watch, a Timex Expedition 49451, and I'll put my Zulu band and Suunto compass on it.

I was supposed to get new shoes with the little bit of Christmas money and gift cards I got, but finding size 13 4E(extra wide) that fit just right is hard enough, and I can actually fix those with a bit of duck tape to extend their useful life.   :D

Footwear is one of those things I never manage to replace until the shoes are literally falling off my feet.  A good pair of shoes or boots just start to get comfortable when the holes start appearing!

Nice watch- I really like that classic kind of low key look.  Of course more often than not I wear a Seiko Orange Monster, so what do I know about low key, good looking watches?  :D  I think I may have to trade it in for one of the newer Yellow Monsters since the OM clashes with my Jeep!

I have been carrying my Panerai a lot lately and it is superb! I really like the size and how you can see the movement form the back! I recently got a rubber strap band for it, to replace the leather and it is superb! The new strap was pretty expensive though.. But, I got the watch as a gift, so I can't complain!  :D

My Citizen Chronograph is going pretty strong.  Sometimes the chrono second hand gets stuck and you have to reset it by pulling the crown out and hitting the start and reset buttons till it lines up at 12:00.  But other than that its been a great watch.

My citizen ti skyhawk has gone a bit haywire.
When the eco drive resets it nowadays it takes about ten minutes to settle down, which is highly annoying as it's been up my sleeve in the dark, so everytime you check it, it goes mental, then you check again, it does it again.

Probably gonna pick up a H3 traser when funds allow.

Inexpensive Luminox Navy Seal  #3050

I have been combing the Pawn shops around the Navy Bases in Pensacola looking for a nice used Rolex SubMariner, still looking.
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !

I am looking for another new watch.. I love my Panerai; but it's extremely heavy and it is too expensive to wear to work! I am either going to buy another Luminox or buy a new G Shock!

I own a Casio G-Shock :)

I've had it for about 3-4 years now...has never failed me ever :tu:

I've put it through a lot of abuse and have also done a couple scuba dives with it....it is the Fort Knox of watches :salute:

I picked up a Seiko Kinetic divers today for a great price, looks like this one although the pic doesn't do it justice;

I went out to buy a H3 traser p6500, as I always liked those, but when I found this next to it in the display, I asked to hold them both, and the Seiko's quality was far more apparent, plus certified 200m water resist as opposed to 50m on the Traser.
Why I also liked it, it has a "no snag" bezel.....you can still turn it with dive gloves on, one finger over the "zero" will move it, but nowhere else, but has no spikey grips on the bezel, as well as the offset crown on the opposite side....it doesn't bunch your sleeves and it is really comfy to wear.

The Kinetic feature is something I love too.
It was £100 more than the Traser on the price tag, but I'd gone in with the exact cash for the traser, so I showed him that, and to my surprise he took it!
I'm really pleased with it.

Luminox & Marathon JSAR

I have sold something like nine watches in the past few months. Since I'm down to just a few, here mine.

I normally wear this glass bead blasted Citizen BM6400 on a Mil-Nato from Countycomm.com:

Guess this one can't be considered a favorite since I don't have it in my possession yet. But, I'm hoping I really like it, it's a sterile dial, no-date, Traser P6502:

I am still really fond of this watch here;

But I have never worn it as I can't seem to find a strap that I like.

My EDC watch is a Suunto Advisor which serves me well.  :)
I'm back!!

Does anyone know where you can get those "raptor" straps from...the ones that have a leather piece under the watch body?
I haven't found any online, although I had a site a year back that sold them, the link in my favourites is now dead.
