Hello new member here.  I came to the forum searching out things about leatherman.

I started really using a multitool a few years ago, someone gave me a leatherman knife that also had the flat and phillips screwdrivers.  I used the phillips every day it seemed.  Then I gave that away and upgraded to a Gerber Crucial pliers multitool.  Carried that everyday for about 2 years.

For xmas I received a leatherman wave with bit kits, and now I've begun to carry that on my belt.  Gotta have a multitool on my at all times now, and I like the Wave so far.  I had an amazon gift card so I ordered the wingman also, I'll want to see how that feels to carry in my pocket with the clip and maybe I'll switch between the two.

cheers

Yes, Maryland.  Or as I prefer to think of it:  Whippyville. :D

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Yes Maryland, I don't know how I'd feel about the Wave with just a pocket clip.  A big reason why I chose the wave was the bit driver, so the sheath with bit kits is how I wear my Wave.  The Wingman I have coming I will try in the pocket with the clip for some days.

Yes, Maryland.  Or as I prefer to think of it:  Whippyville. :D

Welcome from Northern Baltimore County. :)

Thanks, I'm from Northern Baltimore County also, city of Freeland...small place, wouldn't be surprised if we know each other.  I went to Hereford High School, class of 2002.

Been reading a lot on here, and I have some ideas of how I'd like to customize my Wave.  I'm going to start looking for Multitools that are damaged or broken to rob parts from.

Welcome    ive always found the wave a little bit heavy for the clip and better in a pouch, the wingman/sidekick from similar weight so no big difference,i carry my side in its leather sheath atached to a dangler with it hanging in my front right jeans pocket and works well,i sometimes carry my og wave this way, :tu:
