How do you carry your folder?

As the title asks,how do you carry your folder? I thinking here about classic folders rather than SAKs
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

Clipped to my left front pocket.  Smaller slipjoints such as a peanut or penknife go in the fifth pocket of jeans, medium size ones like a mini trapper go in my right pocket.  Larger slipjoints like a TL-29 or Buck 301 I usually put in my left rear pocket next to my wallet.  Easier to get to a big boy that way for me, and if I'm carrying one of them it's probably the only folder on me.  With a locking folder, the smaller slipjoints see use around customers and such.
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

Well, if your definition of "classic folder" is the same as mine, they don't come with pocket clips, so my answer is simply loose in the pocket.  TBH though, I don't carry them much these days.

Pocket clips? The traditional people at BF will have a heart attack.  :D

Usually I carry them loose in my pocket or if they have some fancy/fragile scales I may use a leather sheath.

Same as up to 3 layer SAKs. Right back pocket parallel to the wallet.

i have older, less clip-y folders, but i use the thinnest one with a clip i could find that was comfortable in my hand, because a 'pocketknife' type knife just sits wrong in the bottom of every pocket, and i don't like belt carry for a single blade; it takes longer to get the darn thing out and open.

however, when i am climbing the mast or tower full of enemies/prey, i always carry my knife in my teeth.  >:D

Traditional folder or not, I always carry mine in right front pocket without using the clip(unless I am outdoor).  It might attract too much attention in a knife-phobia city.

most of the time it's clipped to the front right pocket or in the watch pocket

In a pouch in my pack as it´s not legal to carry it in public. Days around my cabin where nobody cares I have it clipped in the right pocket.

I'm amazed at how well my work phone has held up to sharing a pocket with an MT actually, not a scratch on it.
Just a slight dent from where I accidentally threw it at some concrete  :whistle:

So far I've only had my Ontario Rat M2 for just under a week and it is carried in my Skinth Magnum side tube and the Magnum folder is in my back left pants Pocket and the Cold Steel Micro Recon 1 is attached to my key chain...

Got a nice sheath that Farmman made for me,i clip it to a dangler and dangle it in my pocket  :tu:
