Haven't seen Bob post this one.  Light's Perfection Tool.  Great name, excellent heritage. What's not to love?

Nice! Nope, I've never heard of that one before. :salute: Is it a crate tool? I see a crowbar on the end and a hammer head, but what does that piece that is held on with the screw do I wonder?

Crate tool is probably correct.  Maybe fencing?

Could be fencing. :salute: But it looks a lot like the Bridgeport Hardware crate tools (several variations)

If this is a crate tool, I'm guessing that little screw held part is a board puller like you find on demolition tools.  Or some more nefarious purpose that my tiny brain can't surmise.

Yeah, it's an odd one alright. That piece could be a board puller, but it doesn't look very strong for such heavy duty work, and it is only held on with a single screw. Odd indeed. :-\

Then there is the "swirl"?? or curved groove that appears to run across the head of the tool from front to back?    Aerodynamics for a crate tool? Design feature just to make it look different than the other tools?  Weird....

And finally the name.  If the smurfing thing is so perfect how come (why for) this is  the first one I have ever seen and why can't I find more of them via Googly images??? Doesn't sound like perfection to me, jus' sayin'.

Canada has some 'splainin' to do here.

Though on second thought, if this is a fencing tool, that could be a staple puller.
