I had a parcel waiting for me when I got home this afternoon. :mail:

If you want to see what I got then click below, but if the other winners want to keep it a surprise then you'll just have to wait for your own packages. :D

Not only a cracking good SAK, but chocolates and biscuits as well.

many thanks mate, that was very very good of you. :salute:
Glad you like the XY.

Hehe there are many military biscuits challenges all "kids" play in Switzerland.
Like, how many of those can you eat in a minute. Or if you put 5 into your mouth, how long does it take to eat them. Of course all challenges are without outside liquid support.

P.S.: This is actually not the real Swiss Military Chocolate (if you eat the real deal, your bowels will be blocked for a year or two).

You mean Swiss soldiers don't get little chocolate teddy bears in their ration packs? ;)

My neighbour gave me my parcels he signed for while I was away in NZ - and look what I got  :mail:

Thanks so much Etherealicer as you might be able to see I started eating the choc's before taking the pic so what you can see is some empty wrappers lol - this was one amazing care package.

Etherealicer,  this was way more than I expected!!!!!  thank you again, this was very nice.

I am eating the Army Biscuits as I type, I enjoy MREs, so I am enjoying them very much!

I also managed to eat several chocolates before taking the picture   I had been on a business trip, and I was starving when I got home, so, the pictures are missing like 4 candies.

Well,  I now have a Wenger SWORD   okay, okay,   Ranger.

I love the design on the blade, no real reason why, just do.

and so, here are the pictures

Again, thank you very much, I am thrilled!!!

If I can help, let me know

Hey, I'm glad you liked it. I also like it and actually went back to the shop and got myself one too :D. I think its also interesting that the blade has the Alinghi Logo on it, gives it a good look me thinks.

Yeah, much better than a can opener and both of them lock :tu:

what do you mean "both of them lock"?  the only thing that locks on this Ranger is the main blade.  Unless I overlooked something

I think maybe when you put pressure on the flat screwdriver, it pushes in some and locks.  On my Evogrip, that's how it works anyways, not sure about the Ranger.

That makes sense,  and explains the odd nipple on the drivers.  thanks!

Tested what you said, and you are correct,  that is exactly how it locks.  thank you for pointing that out

Etherealicer,

I knew the Wenger you sent me was awesome, but My friends wanted one like it, so I went looking to help them, well they do not exist anywhere I looked on amazon, ebay, and even SAKWiki does not have that tool configuration AT ALL!!

so I now know that I have a rare (from the US anyway) SAK.  thank you again very much.

This was a great prize!
