Funny enough, I consider my city a multi-tool black hole.
A little Leatherman information.

Actually, I think your place must be considered the city's MT black hole, as it sucks in all and any MTs in the vicinity into those wondrous tool cabinets of yours.  Doesn't leave many for anywhere else  :pok:  ;)

That tool is identical to the High Uinta MT I have. I rate it as a good deal better than a handful of nothing, and a little better than the Chinese SAK knock-offs. I'ts a pretty bulletproof design in its simplicity. Not very heavy duty, but fairly solid, IMO.

But then... we all know I have low standards.

Not sure if this is more in the line of Chaco or Lynn, but one of you obviously NEEDS this.  :D

Ohohooo, its actually an early model, the newer have different graphics on the fish-scaler/cap lifter, this is a must for any collector
Honestly, this tool would be much better if the individual tools would separate and didn't have that funky central locking mechanism.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Okie, check this out.. I got this little beauty for 0.50 Euros... Yes... half a Euro for a brand new folding knife...

I got it because I was just shopping for trinkets in a Chinese shop and figured I could use a pointy thing to loosen the dirt in my potted plants...

Funny thing is this cheapo is actually decent: feels good in hand, the blade shape is nice, it's quite sharp, opens and closes nicely with a nice click.
Of course the plastic is the cheapest possible, the pins are poorly finished and stick out, the blade seems flimsy and it was probably sharpened by hitting it with a hammer... but.. hey it was 0.05 Euros, including the metal chain, shipping to Romania and the seller's fee.

Do you imagine how cheap a useful folding knife could? For this, if they spend a couple of extra dollars for better steel and plastic and a final polish it would have been a real little gem...

Ow I forgot it even has a blade half-stop... it looks funny like a mini-pickaxe.

PS: The dirty bit was the price sticker.. I cleaned it up now but cba to take new photos.

(Image removed from quote.)

A bunch of weird little slipjoints have been turning up at our local Chinatown, and on ebay, for very little money. Extremely crude construction, mostly skeletonized metal handles, some with pocket clips, Most surprising thing is the steel is actually decent. Backsprings seem to be pretty good, too. Handles and/or blades have weird cutouts that look like they're intended to be bottle openers, but they don't generally function that way.  ??? Anyhow, it's kind of a neat glimpse into the Chinese domestic discount store pocket knife market.

Chako, Lynn, et al,

On the off chance you don't have them, Marble's has a couple of 'Swing Tools'.
