Will you buy a fuse if..

I have a blast and a kick. Do I still need a fuse? Just to complete the three.. or its just a waste of money?

Maybe you'd be better of investing in a tool by another manufacturer, not because there's anything wrong with LM, just to see if there's something else out there to take you fancy

Especially Victorinox! If all you have are Leatherman tools, wait until you get your first Vic!

Its not a complete waste of money, no LM tool is, but I'd do what the others have said, put the money towards a different tool or even a nice shiny SAK

Well, when faced with that same dilemma, I decided to buy 2 Kicks, 2 Blasts and a Fuse

But then again, I want them ALL!

If however, you are looking for something a bit different to what you have already - then the Fuse probably isn't going to give you that. In fact it has exactly the same features and tools as the Blast (inc larger blade than the Kick), but fewer of them. If you want to experience more LM tools - why not try a Juice or one of the retired tools?

Otherwise - why not try a different brand like Micky D suggests?

What is it that you would like to see in your next tool? The guys on here will surely give you some advice and benefit of their experience.

Go with the spirit. I have the blast and the kick and no fuse. Nothing wrong with the fuse, but I feel that it has little advantage over the kick while being bigger and more expensive while not being as useful as the blast. Also in regards to the vic spirit, it is far better than the fuse seeing as it has more features in a similar and more durable size.

Fil, get the Spirit then later on get the Fuse so you will have peace of mind.

I have two Fuses: stainless and BO. I paid $10 for the stainless Fuse and 20 for the BO!

The Fuse is a great EDC,if you like longer screwdrivers & locking tools,if I thing that I will need a saw and or file,I'll take my Super Tool.

Guys, I have this feeling that the Fuse will be discontinued and someday might, I said might, become a collector's item and very hard to find. As far as I know, the Kick, Fuse and the Blast are the only trilogy in the LM multitools. Well, as Eddie said, to have peace of mind, I might as well buy the Fuse.

Thanks for heeding by advise Fil. I just arrived home home from my usual routine during friday nights. BTW, I conducted a beamshot test with my L2D early this evening using Eneloop. May post the result early tom.
