Today's lunch opened by Vic Cadet

Time: 19.01 seconds

It was a very smooth run, and I don't think my time will improve greatly with a vic opener much above this, unless or until I figure out the upstroke cut. I wasn't attempting that on this run, just going at my best pace.
Great score  :tu:
Btw, there's no need to improve greatly ...
just 5 hundredths of second to beat pst

Go SAK!

The run on the PST wasn't great, and the virtually identical can opener on the SOG PPP is at about 16 seconds. That's my benchmark for fastest at this moment.

Today's lunch brought to you by the Wenger Commander

Time: 16.09 seconds

This included one rim-jump, so it could have been a little faster.

Today's can opened by the Leatherman Rebar.

17.35 seconds.

No rim-jumps, and not much chance of improvement. The Rebar/wave opener is a bit better than the Wingman/Sidekick, but not as good as the PST/old PPP opener, it seems.

I mostly don't track this stuff anymore, but decided to do a timed run with my vic Spirit X.

24 seconds.

Wow... that was a really bad time for me. I had two rim jumps, and the can opener punched all the way through into the can (as in, past  the short flathead driver) twice, which jammed up the process.

I'm not sure if i was just off my game or it was the added mass of the tool, or what.

Terrible. This isn't all on the tool, I think, but some of it is.
