Real Steel Bushcraft Plus
on: April 15, 2023, 10:26:38 PM
Here is my Real Steel Bushcraft Plus/14C28N with convex edge.

I figured a simple way to keep my Real Steel secure in the sheath and still have quick access to it.

I wrapped a black shoe string around the sheath and then left enough on the end so I can plug the end into the hollow rivet on the handle.

Then, when I remove the knife, I can slip the end under the wrapped lace until I need to use it again

Congratulations on coming up with a creative way to solve your problem.  I guess the wrap makes the sheath just tight enough to keep the knife secure, and it never hurts to have cordage available. If you tie the shoe lace to the sheath and to the knife then you won't lose the knife if you drop it. That is the way sailors have retained their rigging knives for centuries. :pok:
