The multitool gods have heard thy cries!!!
on: February 08, 2014, 08:46:40 PM
Remember a number of years ago when  LM decided the stop maling their famous Micra Model, and we all cried and wept when that haapened? :ahhh
(and lets not forget the ashes and sack cloth  )

Guess what I saw at the Marlton NJ REI??  Thet were selling RED Leatherman Micras for $25.95

Ifyou don't mind the red, the multitool gods have heard your cries!!

Micras are still made, BT, both the regular stainless steel, the 30th Anniversary Micra (with DLC), and annodized in various colors.

Not in my part of Canada. I haven't seen one for years as well at a retail place...but I did know they were still being produced.

I never really liked the PST / II design. So a PST III would have to be different for me to go after it. Ah wait. I would have to get one for the collection anyways.

I kinda figured the Rebar was the PST III......
God made man but Samuel Colt made them equal.

This.

And I think the Rebar is a great replacement for the PST. I have a PST II and I like the scissors, but not so much that I'd want to remove something from a Rebar to have them.

The Rebar is a nice improvement over the PST. :tu:

Really? You guys consider Rebar to be the direct successor of PST's, even though it has completely different tool selection and 1/3 additional bulk?  ???

Rebar is a replacement for Blast, not PST. I'd rather say Pulse was meant to be a successor of PST line.
