Beautiful knife!Sent from a device made from star dust using tapatalk
That is
Nice. Despite the fact that they are in fashion now, and are thus made in some expensive versions, Barlows are best/purer in their basic workingmans knife versions
I opted for a two blade GEC Palo Santo wood TC Barlow this time.(Image removed from quote.)The wood used is "magic" as it looks different depending on how light is reflected on it.Came with a suede protective pouch.Overall:Nice, unusual, wood,Good finish.HalfstopThe backsprings are nearly flat at all 3 positions where the blade stopsSurprisingly easy pull, similar to a Wenger.. Approaching "too easy". I never expected to get a GEC with such an easy opening blade (both blades were equally easy to open)The problem is that the Dollar to Euro ratio is making the knife 50% more expensive than it was/should be, lessening the desire to buy more, until their price in Euro gets lower.
Somebody mentioned hard working Barlows?

If you like the size, the standard lick creek, single blade, is half the price of the SFO Barlow.
You do not need to actually use them You can just look at them

I Like the #85 as well but usually go for bigger knives like the #23 and #53. I need to get all the GEC out and shoot a pic.
