I actually like those kind of patterns, I'm just still not too keen on buying from them for reasons I won't get into again... Nice alox though :tu:

Does Roger's attitude make you angry? ;)

Who painted over hlf of these with a Sharpie?

While I find the idea interesting, the colour combinations are a total miss except the blue and red on white varieties. The rest is absolutely not for me...

How hard would it be to get one of our modders to do the splash pattern? I should say get our modders coating guys to do it.

From my experience in the paintball gun world, splash anodizing is a bit trickier than one would think. There are several ways to do it, and folks tend to have their own idiosyncratic methods when it comes to doing a splash dye pattern...

I'd love to see a burst or fade pattern though. Something that goes from silver to black to lime green. :)

I'm a solid color guy... Not a fan of the splash at all.  But a nice gradient?  That does sound like it could be very cool.  Nothing shocking... but a Grey to Black or a dark green to black.  That could be really cool!

Most of the DIY guys that Ive seen do knife handles use nail polish or adhesive masks and get clean lines with that.  The splatter is easy to get with nail polish you just flick the brush.  This +B stuff looks more like a drizzle.   Its really just a matter of protecting the aluminum from anodizing with something that can withstand the process.

I like the splash anodizing...reminds me of Jackson Pollock paintings ;)
Some of it can look like it's been done with marker pen but most of it is good :tu:
I vaguely remember +B mentioning something about Albert Hoffman and his great invention with connection to the splash design...
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Nice to hear there will be more apocalypse green. Gunmetal blue should be nice as well (especially with a red shield).

Don't like the tool sets. They are being made weirder and less useful to appeal to hoarding collectors who will pay a couple hundred each, sit on them, and try to make money in a few years selling them at a profit. While jacking up the prices on every Alox, even the most mundane ones.

I like the scale colors, I will say that much for them.

I just saw on Swiss Bianco website there are Apocoplypse Green Pioneers, Farmers, Harversters, Mini Farmers and more.  Also have Gunmetal grey blue as well.

I wish there was a apocolypse yeoman.

I like the colour choice, much better than the marlin spike range. But not so impressed with the tool choice on most of the recent releases. I would like more alox with the combo tool, inline phillips, and scissors... some models seem strange to me, like the carver for a start.

How do the US buyers get these?

I think they will be in the next newsletter and should available on the website soon.

Which website would that be. Sorry but I have never bought from him before and was just trying to get the specifics.

Tools-n-rails is a +B seller, good to see them get the current inflated value on a few at least. :)

Those new ones are nice, Harvester and Rancher with KR's, not too common. :tu:

Hmmm, debating picking these up... but after filming videos on most of the configurations I'm not too keen on buying more just for the colors.

I've come to really dislike the Carver, and don't really care for the Cadet Plus either... The Farmer looks nice, that might be the only one I get for myself.

Hmmm...oh well.

Btw, I got media passes for Blade Show, so maybe I'll try to do an interview with Roger. Make it awkward and ask him about how awesome Switzerland is. :D

Yep, and it's in a $5 Priority Box that shows up a week late and you don't get the tracking number unless you open a dispute. :D Ya know, the usual.
