MUT Blade Replacement

Hi,

MUT and Surge (old model):
will the knife blades be interchangeable? Eyeballing the two blades looks like it might work, but there are differences in the length, but where the blade attaches are bigger for the MUT than the Surge. I'm more a Plain Edge blade fan than a Serrated Edge and are keen to swap the two blades around.

If there is an inmate that has done this or can try it please feel free to chime in.
