I just got a new old stock SOG PowerPlay yesterday. I like it very much, except that the unlock knob is a bit stiff. Everything else is great.
The strange thing is that PowerPlay had a short product life. They say PowerPlay was released in 2016, but it was discontinued after only a few years. So I had a hard time finding this product. Could someone let me know why PowerPlay retired so early? Thanks!

Per two reps I spoke with, it is a major problem obtaining materials, so production is limited to only a few patterns and labor is another issue, explained why their sharpening service was not at this event, as their craftsmen who oversee sharpening tasks are to busy to travel?  I suspect cost to transport tools as well.

Nice time net collectors that traveled some far distances to locate bargains and buy the stores pattern and get the passport stamped.

May I please have the name of the Case knife second down on the left? It’s a nice looking model… hell, they’re all nice looking.m

I am very satisfied with the Charge, it just feels very premium like. And I was hoping to get it with the recently discontinued crimper pliers, which I did! Either way it would have been great, but it is nice to have one more thing to make it different from my Wave and Surge.

In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge by carrying  a GEC knife and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Bladeless Multitool for 30 days Start a new thread and post a picture of fire making kit or fire with a multitool Join the brave and happy few, who choose a different path. Enter on the boulevard of broken dreams.
